Tristan Vol. 4 Chapter 5

 By: Asa Montreaux

The clinking of glasses echoed through the gallery as Tristan stepped forward, a glass of champagne in hand. The room quieted, all eyes turning to him. He cleared his throat, feeling the familiar flutter of nerves.

“Thank you all for being here tonight,” he began, his voice gaining strength with each word. “This gallery is more than just a collection of photographs. It’s a reflection of journeys—both external and internal.”

He paused, glancing at Maisie, who nodded encouragingly.

“Art, for me, has always been about connection,” Tristan continued. “It’s about seeing the world through different lenses, capturing moments that might otherwise be lost to time. But beyond that, it’s about using those moments to spark change.”

The room was silent, hanging on his every word.

“In light of recent events, I’ve been offered an opportunity to document the effects of global warming across Europe. It’s a chance to use my art to shed light on one of the most pressing issues of our time. And it’s a reminder that art isn’t just about beauty—it’s about responsibility.”

He raised his glass, his gaze sweeping over the crowd.

“Here’s to art that speaks, that challenges, and that inspires. And to all of you, for being part of this journey.”

The room erupted in applause, and as Tristan took a sip of his champagne, he felt a profound sense of purpose settle over him. This was just the beginning.
