Rules for Fortnite editing on controller
By Asa Montreaux
I would prefer to keep this out of the mainstream, but this is more or less for controller players everywhere. So no video, maybe I'll add a few clips to this later.
Rules for Fortnite editing on controller:
1. It’s okay to move side to side. Move to the right or left to start opening a wall.
2. Move just in two directions, up and down, and left and right, move on the x and y axis, and you never screw up. Move, say, right, to the centre of the last tile, and the move straight up, or down, to the centre of the last tile. Have edit on release enabled, and then just leave it there. Have you thumpad dead zones set very low.
3. Stabilize the controller on your legs, or a comfortable desk.
4. Move your buttons. Get the edit off the thumb stick, and onto a button, like y. Otherwise you cannot edit instantly, and you will lose.
5. Get height, and then fight, the players above wins more than 50 percent of the time.
6. Find edit maps and practice this, don’t just keep playing.
7. Move you reset onto a button as well, it’s crucial for avoiding damage
8. Try using the analog stick to make more space, put you map here, even your pickaxe, it will really help.
